National children’s swim school franchise opens second location in VA to accommodate area’s high demand
Washington, DC (February 2017) — Neighborhood Retail Group recently announced Goldfish Swim School will open its second Virginia location at The Shops at West Falls Church, 7395 Lee Hwy., Suite K, Falls Church, VA 22042 in Summer 2017. Franchise owners Ryan and Gina Bewersdorf operate Goldfish Swim School Reston, VA, which opened two years ago. In order to accommodate the area’s growing demand for quality swim lessons, the Bewersdorfs decided to open a second location.
“Opening a Goldfish Swim School inside the Beltway was always part of our growth plan,” says Ryan Bewersdorf. “We are thrilled to provide extraordinary swim lessons in a child-friendly environment to the Falls Church, Arlington, Alexandria and D.C. area.”
Neighborhood Retail Group (NRG) secured the new location, which was once home to a Rite-Aid. Finding the ideal space inside the Beltway was no easy feat as major renovations are necessary to turn the 9,100-sq. ft. space into a tropical paradise in which young swimmers will enjoy bright colors, palm trees, a heated pool deck and a 25-yard pool heated to 90 degrees.
“Ryan and Gina trusted NRG to find the ideal space for their second swim school after other area brokers were unsuccessful,” says Bethany Kazaba, Founder and Managing Principal, Neighborhood Retail Group. “We knew the challenges in finding a location suitable for their state-of-the-art facility and are beyond excited to open in Falls Church this summer.”
